You can set up employees and contractors on LessAccounting to track what you pay them.
Here's how:
- Go to your Contacts page
- Click the "+ Contact" button in the top right to add a new contact. Similarly, you can search and click on an existing contact to edit it.
- Below the contact fields are options to list a contact as an employee or a sub-contractor. Checkmark the appropriate option.
- Save your changes!
Here's what you can do with employees and contractors:
- Track payments to individuals by categorizing expenses as Wages or Contract Labor
- Filter your Payroll reports by individual to see what you've paid them in any given time period
