Employees + Contract Labor (Setup)

You can set up employees and contractors on LessAccounting to track what you pay them.

Here's how:

  • Go to your Contacts page
  • Click the "+ Contact" button in the top right to add a new contact. Similarly, you can search and click on an existing contact to edit it.
  • Below the contact fields are options to list a contact as an employee or a sub-contractor. Checkmark the appropriate option.
  • Save your changes! 
Here's what you can do with employees and contractors:
  • Track payments to individuals by categorizing expenses as Wages or Contract Labor
  • Filter your Payroll reports by individual to see what you've paid them in any given time period
